Cucumber Agua Fresca
Make refreshing Cucumber Agua Fresca, a Mexican classic! Blend cucumber, mint, and lime for a cool summer drink. Serve with a Tajín rim!
Ingredients
Servings: 6 servings
- 2 lbs cucumbers, peeled, and cut into medium pieces
- 6 cups water
- 10 mint leaves
- 1/4 cup lime juice
- Sugar to taste, (3/4 cup sugar)
Serve
- Chamoy
- Tajín
- Ice
- Lime slices
- Cucumber slices
- Mint leaves
Instructions
- Blend the cucumbers, 2 cups of water, and mint leaves until completely smooth.
- Pour the blended mixture into a pitcher. Add the lime juice, sugar, and 4 cups of water, stirring until the sugar fully dissolves.
- Dip the rim of a glass in chamoy (or agua fresca), then coat with Tajín. Fill the glass with ice, nestling cucumber slices and lime wedges among the ice cubes.
- Garnish with a mint leaf and serve chilled.
